Chuck Close painted in acrylic on canvas using neutral colors like white, gray and black, whose dimensions are 273.1 x 212.1 cm. Chuck used a grid on the photo and on the canvas the copied cell to cell, using a spray, fabric scraps, knives and an eraser on a drilling machine, and this was his first work using this technique.
